I purchased a Nikon D7000 in the summer of 2011. My continuing goal is to eliminate the use of the Auto setting and effectively operate the manual functions. It’s a ongoing learning process, but sometimes aided by a beautiful blue sky, or just having the benefit of a great picture to take, I get lucky. As you may notice from a few pictures, having a long zoom lens certainly helps (especially at the zoo!). An occasional picture may be posted from my iPhone 4S, as well.
All the pictures posted here were taken around the Washington, DC area, including Great Falls, the National Zoo and The National Mall. Washington is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and hopefully, I can demonstrate just a little bit of that through my photos.
